This video documents the recovery of a 75-year-old patient who initially underwent a partial hip replacement that was later converted to a total hip replacement. The surgical procedure addressed significant degenerative joint disease while carefully considering the patient's age and bone quality.
The excellent outcome was achieved through precise implant positioning and a tailored rehabilitation program, allowing for impressive mobility restoration in this senior patient.
As a 75-year-old patient, I first underwent a partial hip replacement and later a total hip replacement under Dr. Milkias's care. With his close follow-up and attentive care, I had an amazing recovery. Today, I am moving comfortably and doing very well in my daily activities.
This 27-year-old male patient had undergone plate and screw fixation abroad, which failed after six months. He came with severe pain and noticeable limb shortening. A total hip replacement was successfully performed, resulting in pain-free walking and correction of the limb length discrepancy.
“I had been in constant pain for months after my initial surgery failed. My leg felt weak and shorter, and I couldn’t walk properly. After the hip replacement, the pain was gone, and I could walk normally again. I’m so relieved and grateful for the treatment I received.”
This video demonstrates the management and recovery of a supracondylar fracture in a 9-year-old patient. The treatment involved closed reduction and percutaneous pinning of the fracture, minimizing surgical trauma while ensuring proper alignment.
The rehabilitation progress shows the remarkable healing capacity of pediatric patients when treated with appropriate techniques and careful post-operative management.
My 9-year-old son Iyad was treated by Dr. Milkias for a supracondylar fracture—a break just above the elbow. A closed fixation procedure was performed, and the recovery went smoothly.
